One of the key requirements of companies using Infor EAM is to send financial information from EAM to Financial systems like Sun FMS or Oracle Financials.

MCT has developed and implemented a customized interface solution to seamlessly integrate Infor EAM with Sun FMS. Using the Sun Connect feature the integration is done by calling Sun FMS webservices for data exchange.

The following touch points between Infor EAM and Infor FMS SunSystems are developed

• Journal Voucher
• Sending Consumption (Materials) on Work orders to Infor FMS SunSystems
• Sending Consumption (Labor and Services) on Work orders to Infor FMS SunSystems
• Sending Goods received values to Infor FMS SunSystems

• Analysis Codes
• Sending Vendor Master data to Infor FMS SunSystems
• Any other analysis points (as identified by Customer)

The solution uses the Infor EAM architecture to achieve the flow of information. Infor EAM flex triggers are used for populating the account information for each JV.

Records in the DataBridge interface tables are processed by the Infor FMS SunSystems Interface driver which is a backend process that uses the Infor EAM Cron job architecture. The process picks up the record that are to be processed from the interface table and creates an SOAP message.

The SOAP message is then sent to Infor FMS SunSystems using Sun connect. The response received from Infor FMS SunSystems is processed to find if the processing has been successful or not status of the interface record is updated accordingly. Both the request and response messages are saved with the Interface record and can be viewed from record view.

• Both View GL Entries and Account details tab on individual screens can be used for correcting entries.
• DataBridge Message screen for viewing and reprocessing messages
• After the entries have been corrected, user can indicate to the Infor FMS SunSystems driver to reprocess the transactions from the DataBridge Message Status screen.
